OVERVIEW:
The Stress Managment Center has been the premier Bay Area yoga therapy center for a decade. Our teachers come from many different yoga backgrounds and each of them uses a variety of methods to assist clients. Because we are not devoted to a single methodology or lineage, we are free to help the client find the remedy best-suited to them. In designing a Yoga Theacher Training, we started with that open approach. This gives us one of the most diverse and practical trainings in the Bay Area.
At the conclusion of this training, you should be able to run a class safely and effectively for a variety of common aches and pains. You should be able to access and recommend rememdies in a one-on one setting. You should be able to determine if a client's issues are within your scope of competence or if you need to ask for help/refer the client to someone else. In all cases, you will be taught how to err on the side of safety!
COURSE OUTLINE:
This is a 12 week program, covering classical asana first, and then focusing on applying and modifying the asanas to meet the clients' needs using six methodologies: Iyengar, Vini, Ananda, InnerBody, Yin and Ayurveda. All aspects of yoga will be taught, from the physical to the philosophical!
This course is appropriate for anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of yoga as a therapeutic tool, either for self care or to help others.

$2850 Early Bird Pricing due in full by August 1, 2010
$2950 Standard Price due in full by September 13, 2010
$3050 Payment Plan. $800 due September 1st, then 3 payments of $750 each automatically charged to your credit card on October 1st, November 1st, and December 1st.
REFUNDS: Refunds of 100% less a $100 processing fee may be made before September 1st. After September 1st and before September 13th, a 50% refund is allowable. No refunds after September 17th.
