I am a Master Practitioner and Trainer
of NLP, and have been an alternative therapist for fifteen
years. With Robert Dial, M.D., I started the first alternative
AIDS clinic in Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, I also
served as a minister at the Fort Worth Federal Corrections
Institute (prison).
Following that two-year experience, I moved to
Sedona, Arizona and worked for several years with
health clinics there. In those years and those associations,
it became very clear to me that, at least in the United States,
the prevailing psychological and medical models were
incomplete. Somehow, a “person” was reduced to something
less, and the whole interior self of truth, beauty, meaning
and power was either not seen or flattened into only that
which can be “objectively” measured.
