Meet Malcolm Campbell, Director Of Counseling Services

I am a Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP, and have been an alternative therapist for fifteen years. With Robert Dial, M.D., I started the first alternative AIDS clinic in Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, I also served as a minister at the Fort Worth Federal Corrections Institute (prison).

Following that two-year experience, I moved to Sedona, Arizona and worked for several years with health clinics there. In those years and those associations, it became very clear to me that, at least in the United States, the prevailing psychological and medical models were incomplete. Somehow, a “person” was reduced to something less, and the whole interior self of truth, beauty, meaning and power was either not seen or flattened into only that which can be “objectively” measured.

In my work I have found that healing is becoming whole again, re-engaging or re-connecting those non-measurable aspects of self, a process that happens on the inside. I have watched “incurable” diseases become “in-curable” not curable with traditional American medicine but curable from the inside. From what I have seen with clients, human possibilities far exceed the limits of any prevailing model.

My practice is about helping people let go of conflicting inner demands and limiting beliefs or decisions. This results in them feeling better about themselves and making better decisions about the choices in life -- both conscious and unconscious choices. From there, life changes for the better.

On the lack of love and intimacy:"I am not aware of any other factor in medicine -- not diet, not smoking, not exercise, not stress, not genetics, not drugs, not surgery -- that has a greater impact on our quality of life, incidence of illness, and premature death from all causes"
